This blue-eyed kitten was one of four kittens rescued when they were found feeding by their dead mother's body. The picture was shot during one of the hand-feeding sessions. The look of uncertainty on the kitten's beautiful blue eyes reflects his situation. BTW, they all grew up to be beautiful big cats, their eye color changed as they grew older.Time
Feeding time was very challenging at the beginning, but oh, so rewarding. We had to feed the four kittens with droppers, until they learned how to eat by themselves. It was mid-afternoon on the porch.Lighting
The day was overcast, perfect lighting to contrast the blue of the kitten's eyes. You can see his brother in the background, waiting his turn. The sunless light minimized the glare and reflection.Equipment
Nikon D200, Tamron 28-300mm F/3.5-6.3 lensInspiration
The look on the kitten's face was irresistible. He just finished being fed and looked inquisitive as to what next?Editing
I performed minor adjustments, such as brightness and contrast. In my camera bag

This shot was not planned. My advice is that you carry your camera with you all the time and just shoot pictures.
