It has seen many camera crews this beach, most notably Pink Floyd's The Wall (1982) in 1981 they filmed the Second World War Anzio landings (which were flashbacks in the film), many of my friends were extras in it.

Robbie Williams 'Angels and Olly Murs 'Hand on Heart' also featured this beach in videos.
