We adventured to a overpass in San Diego. We discovered that beneath the overpass was the perfect place to try some steel wool. With rocks on one side and a small creek running through, we thought we'd light up and spin away.Time
It was close to 10pm. Which was a bit unnerving because here we were, under a overpass in a park that was closed at 9pm. Adventure awaits.Lighting
It was very dark under the overpass. we had to use a light to focus on the man spinning, then adjust the settings till we got the desired illuminationEquipment
I used my trusty canon rebel t5i with my 18-55mm lens. A tripod is a must!Inspiration
I had discovered steel wool spinning online and was instantly drawn to it. I had to try and master this awesome techniqueEditing
A little post processing to make it a bit sharper and crisp. In my camera bag
My bag always has my camera, and my 50mm lens. I gave lens cleaning supplys and spare batteries. Strapped to the outside is my trusty tripod.Feedback
Experiment with things. Never give up. Research, and devolp.
