when the red, red robin comes a bob-bob bobbing along... they'll be no sobbing when he starts singing his sweet song.

Location
This photo was taken from the inside of our house through a glass sliding door that looks out to the deck. This robin was building a nest on our rain gutter and seem to always stop on the deck before going up to the nest being built.Time
This photograph was taken around 9:30 AM in early April.Lighting
The light at 9:30 in early April in northern Kentucky is yet to be harsh, so the light source was somewhat muted.Equipment
This photograph was taken with a Sony sure shot camera. This camera has a built-in zoom lens. This is the camera I used prior to getting my Nikon.Inspiration
I was setting at the kitchen table having breakfast and saw this robin gathering nest material and stopping on the deck before flying up to the nest. This happened several times, therefore; I decided to take advantage of the opportunity and see if I could get a shot. I did not have to wait long before she returned with fresh nest material.Editing
The Sony camera I used does not support Raw format, therefore it was already in a jpeg format. I may have played with the contrast and brightness a little, but nothing major. In my camera bag
This photo was taken with a older Sony camera with I used before I got a new Nikon. Now I primary use the Nikon. I usually carry only a small camera bag that will hang on my shoulder. I have one camera body (Nikon D3200) and two lens (15-55MM) and (55-300mm). I have a polarized filter for each lens and a neutral density filter small the smaller lens. I have several macro attachments lens for the (15-55mm) lens in case I wish to do macro photography. I also have a remote shutter release fob, several charged batteries and an extra flash card.Feedback
Just take advantage of opportunities that arise for a good shot. It was as if the robin was posing for photographs each time it stopped on the deck prior to flying up to the nest.
