Visited this beach for the first time at the weekend, despite it being only 20 minutes away, I never knew it existed and stumbled upon it doing an internet search re: local beaches. Rattray Beach is known as "one of Aberdeenshire's best kept secrets." Can believe this as it was almost deserted when we visited. Seemed a shame to be the first set of footprints in the sand, but couldn't wait to get out there with my camera!
