I used Canon 5D M3 with Canon 70-200 mm f 2.8 ll,Canon Speedlite 600EX-RT with a soft box, camera was handheld.Of course while shooting,I play disco music to inspire the model and could help a lot build her own body rhythm to pose nicely, and inspire me too.Inspiration
I was inspired taking this portrait because of her authentic Filipina beauty and nice body lines.Editing
slight shadow adjustment and desaturation on Lightroom. In my camera bag
My work horse camera,Canon 5d M3 and Sony A7r ll with metabone adapter for canon lenses.Sigma 12-24 mm f4.5,Canon 16-35 mm 2.8,Canon 24-70 mm 2.8 ll,Canon 70-200 mm 2.8 ll which is my work horse for portrait.Feedback
Try to achieve the perfect lighting.Experimentation is the key.Different subjects needs different lighting condition.Fair skinned subjects has different lighting needs from dark skinned.Try to let model pose naturally relaxed.I usually have background music during shots to break the barrier and makes the model pose easier.I usually say to them " relax, pose with the music- feel the music".
