This photo was taken on my first trip to Chobe Botswana. We were on a boat on the chobe river with a bunch of keen photographers when we saw this buffalo in the water. It was grazing on the flowers growing in abundance on the river. I only later saw the detail of the oxpecker on the leg of the buffalo. April months the chobe is alive with so many birdspecies and other animals that you can literally have a good shot at everything......This trip was in April 2012.Time
