While on assignment covering the flooding and tornadoes in N. Dakota I was given an additional tasking to document operations of the missile silos near Minot AFB. The tornado activity swept into the area of the silos just as I got there. As the sun was setting a tornado started to form less than ¼ mile from me. I shot this scene with a 24mm lens to capture the grandeur of this storm.
