This photo was taken just after sunrise. The light was a beautiful amber color and created such soft lines & shadows, it really made the sculptures pop against the late winter background.Lighting
I'm not much of a morning person, so i often miss sunrise lighting. However, on this day I had to drive a friend to the airport for an early flight. After I dropped him off, I saw the beautiful sunrise against the skyline & thought I should take advantage of the perfect lighting.Equipment
As this photo op was taken on a whim, I only had my smartphone camera with me. But it did a beautiful job capturing the moments!Inspiration
The beautiful sunrise was my catalyst. I arrived so early at the museum that it was not even open yet, but it was perfect for photographing the sculpture garden, with only a couple of other people around & beautiful lighting.Editing

Get out there & take photos. Practice helps you to find the right light, compositions, & angles. Sometimes it ends up being luck too, but then you can try to recreate the technique to get similar results.
