Tecoman Joy

This is my favorite photo I have ever taken . . . and nobody else likes it! haha. This was taken while on a surf trip-assignment in Tecoman, Mexico. We stayed at a marginal hotel on the beach, and there was a family there using the pool, seen in the picture. That pool wasn't fit for frogs, but the young girls, particularly the one in the shot, were absolutely having a blast, as if they were at an exotic Club Med. I had to take this picture fast before they saw me, but I love the resultant soft focus, for it yielded the amazing patterns on the water surface, and movement to the girls smile and expression, giving a bit of mystery. So, I love it, but understand if you don't! haha. Taken with Leica M6, Zeiss 35mm, Tri-X film, and scan from print.
