Location
This candid pic was taken in our yard in South Texas not long after my son brought home this cute Australian Shepard as a gift for his future wife.Time
This was shot around 09:00 or 10:00 am in late Fall.Lighting
This shot was nothing more than a candid snap of my wife playing with Grizzly”.Equipment
This was taken with a Canon Rebel T4 and a 24-105 zoom. No flash was used; shadow side was filled slightly from the white stucco wall of the house nearby.Inspiration
Simply the cuteness of the puppy.Editing
None that I recall. This was taken not long after I got into digital photography following years of using film. So, I had no significant software for editing or knowledge how to use it at that time.In my camera bag
I currently use a Canon 5DMk IV, the same 24-105 zoom, a Canon 16-35 2.8 for landscapes, a 100-400 Canon L for wildlife, and a Sigma 85 mm Art for portraits. I use a Godox V1C flash for balancing with available light.Feedback
Keep a camera close by. Biggest regrets are missed photo opportunities.
