Several folks left me comments on the posting of this engine. I have removed the darker version and took their suggestions to lighten it up. I hope it is a better representation of what I was trying to capture.

Southern Pacific EMD GP40P-2 getting and early morning service. It was scheduled for a run over Donner Pass. It is getting sand for traction, a bit of oil and diesel for the tough trip over the pass.
