Location
This photo taken at outskirts of Bangalore City, India. Bangalore city is not only IT capital of India but also best place for birding.Time
This photo captured near small water pool where birds come to drink and play in water. It was late noon where sun was oblique which gave perfect lighting condition for capturing wildlife.Lighting
It was perfect stage set up, all I need was good lighting, I was lucky to get late noon oblique light. It was perfect lighting condition for any photography.Equipment
This was shot on Canon 7D mark ii camera and Tamron 150 - 600 lens. No flash fired.Inspiration
understanding animal behavior and learn new in photography always make me to take my camera out.Editing
Mostly I try to get best exposure and composition in camera itself because I'm damn lazy to do post processing. My intension is to keep the post processing very minimal. Most of the Post processing are done using Camera raw rather than Photoshop. In my camera bag
Over the years my bag gained weight by adding multiple equipment. I always carry Canon 7D mark ii which mainly use for Bird and macro photography and Canon 6D for mammals and Landscapes. Tamron 150 - 600 is main lens for wildlife along with I carry Canon 24 - 105 for wide angle perceptive and landscapes. Rokinon 14 is one my favorite lens for Astro and Night photography. Canon 100mm Non L macro lens for macro. Another bag I carry Canon 20D and kit lens for time lapse and camera trap.Feedback
Best advice I could think and always say's myself that use all the lens in the bag, which means shot the subject from telephoto and also using wide angle. If you have zoom lens try all focal lengths. This effort will give different perceptive and different stories.
