Behind The Lens

Location

Photo taken at Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge in Florida. I always slow down when I see a group of Buzzards. I have had many times when I see a white head pop out of the middle of the buzzards. This time did not disappoint me.

Time

I always try to start out early on days when I go out to take pictures. It was around 7:30 AM

Lighting

Nothing to recommend

Equipment

Sony A200 with 300MM lens.

Inspiration

I was inspired to take this photo due to the eagle popping it's head up. Unique to see two different species feasting on the same animal

Editing

None

In my camera bag

I now use a Nikon D3400. But love the quality I get out of my old Sony.

Feedback

Slow down and look to see what critters are feasting on. You may be surprised at what pops it head up.
