This was taken at Philadelphia Zoo. Captured this shot when the Lioness came towards me. I guess it got curious looking at the blinking AF-assist illuminator light in my camera. Of course, I was behind the glass partition. Had to take this shot at an angle to avoid reflection and glare on the glass.

Captured this shot when the Lioness came towards me. I guess it got curious looking at the blinking AF-assist illuminator light in my camera. Of course, I was behind the glass partition. Had to take this shot at an angle to avoid reflection and glare on the glass.Equipment
Camera: NIKON D3200 Lens: Nikkor 18-5mm Aperture: f/5.6 ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/125 Focal Length: 270/1 Tripod: No Flash: NoInspiration
I wanted to take a picture of Lion or Lioness in action rather than when they are tired or sleeping as they usually on hot summer days in the Zoos.Editing
Yes, just did some cropping and color adjustments. In my camera bag
I usually carry a Nikon D3200 with 2 sets of lenses a 18-55mm and a 55-300mm. I also carry with me a remote shutter release.Feedback
When you take pictures of animals in the wild or in the zoo, you need to be patient for those Animals to make the right move. When it is the right moment to click, you usually would only have a fraction of a second to capture. Hence, make sure that you are all set (eg., the exposure, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, etc) to just press shutter button.
