My eyes are lingering, the color, serenity, the rock formations. Dang, Woman, post more photos. We don't bite...much.

This is the one that caught my eye in the stunning landscapes competition. The colours, the symmetry, the peacefulness, the way the top of the mountain, in the reflection, slot's nicely into the rock formation. It's just beautiful and very clever composition. :)

Thank you so much, really glad you like it! I tried a lot to find the composition I liked there.

Location
This photo was taken on September 2014 in Trillium Lake, OregonTime
I was visiting the lake for 3 days every sunrise and sunset looking for some special color or a moody sky. This photo was taken just after sunset .Lighting
Unfortunately I didn't have some clouds on the sky these days in Oregon so I tried to take the most of the beautiful twilight color and the soft light of that moment.Equipment
Canon EOS 6D with Canon EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM and tripod of courseInspiration
I loved that lake from the first time I saw it. I found my spot 3 days before that photo was taken. I tried for three days to achieve the best result there.Editing
The post processing for this photo was really easy I increased the contrast and the saturation and did some corrections in the curves. In my camera bag
Nowadays I carry a Canon EOS 6D a wide lens EF16-35mm F4L and the Canon EF24-105 F4L which is my favorite. In rare cases I use the Canon EF 70-200 F4 L. I always carry a light carbon fiber tripod, Lee graduated ND filters , the big stopper and circular polarizer.Feedback
The best photos come to me when I am familiar with the place and when the place really touches me . This was the case here. I loved the lake and visited many times in three days so I think I achieved a nice result.
