I took this photo in Historic Downtown Sanford, FL. A guy was driving by with his vintage car and I immediately stopped him to ask to use his car for my Engagement Shoot. He was very willing and pulled the car into the dirt lot right next to the Coffee Shop he works at!Time
This was morning around 8:30 - 9:00 amLighting
The sun was starting to get high; however, it was mostly blocked by the wall in the shot so we were able to get good light with out the glare or harshness.Equipment

When we got the car we just went with it. I kept instructing them to be sensual and lean up against the car. It kind of all fell together since it was such a spur of the moment shot!Editing
Yes I post processes in Photoshop (PS). Mostly in ACR (Adobe Camera Raw) Added Contrast, dropped highlights, increased shadows, used adjustment brush to add clarity, and then did a little bit with Curves in PS.In my camera bag

If you get a chance to actually plan this type of session, definitely think about locations, lighting, your models or clients, their attire, and figure out how it will all work together. Somehow we got extremely lucky that day and this fell all into place. I don't think this shot would have worked at Golden Hour, which is my favorite time to shoot. We originally were going to do the session in another location. Unfortunately when we arrive at 7:00 am they had all the streets blocked off for a local race. We then discussed other options and decided to go to Sanford. They were really looking forward to the cute quaintness of the other area, so Sanford was a bit similar but not exactly. Afterwards we ended up with gritty, grungy, dark photos, that they loved. Sometimes when it all works against you the end result is better than could have been expected!
