I made this photo in Oman at Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve , in SeptemberTime
It was the sunrise. Turtles had just finished laying eggs during a lli night and exhausted they returned to sea.Lighting
i have waited all the night for to see the sunrise, with his beautiful colors and light and fortunately in the meantime a turtle was going back to the sea.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon 650d, f4.5, iso 100 exposure 1/200 without any other equipmentInspiration
During the night i went in this beach where i knew i'd found the turtles. I was excited to attend that they lay their eggs, an event of the cycle of life..at the same time fearful and worried that my presence doesn't disturb...i wanted to take picture that was symbol of this event, and so...at rise of dawn an exhausted turtle came back to the sea, his home....and the home of the turtles that will born.Editing
I made simply the classic improvements with Photoshop, like contrast and brightnessIn my camera bag
Most of the time for convenience i have only my canon. I bring a tripod when i know that conditions require it. Same things for lens close up or IR.Feedback
Like in every landscape photography you must have much patient for to capture the right moment. During my trip here in Oman my advise his to keep attention to the wind and umidity , the lens fogged often creating fine focus problems.. Obviously controlled the correct time of year for to find the turtles and then...enjoy the nature... since it is wonderful!
