I was thrilled to find this baby fawn snuggled up close to one of our trees along a pathway in our yard. I didn't realize that moms will drop their babies off all day and come back to pick them up before dark. I was able to sit, legs crossed about 20 ft from bambi for hours at a time snapping pictures. I have so many beautiful shots. The next day mom left bambi again, still in our yard, but in a different location.
