Hands speak volumes and you have caught them beautifully

Behind The Lens

Location
I took this photo in my parents living room
Time
I took the photo in the afternoon around 2.30pm
Lighting
I wanted the light to just touch my fathers hands , I positioned him about 3ft from the French doors using only natural light
Equipment
Canon 6D, 50mm lens and a black fleece blanket no other equipment was used.
Inspiration
My father is precious to me and in his 70's, he is very creative and I owe my creative flow from him. I wanted to create something that paid homage to the hard working man that I know he is
Editing
Yes I boosted the contrast to accentuate his lines
In my camera bag
My canon 6d, my 70-200 & 50mm lens and speed lite with soft box
