This was a beautiful capture during a very hot and sunny day at Ashbridges Bay Park in Toronto Ontario during the summer of 2015.
This photo was one of Robson's entries into the under 18 wildlife photo contest by Greenpeace Canada for their 2016 calendar. It was voted in the top 12 most popular entries - a real treat.
This Male Mink was unexpectedly calm and watched my Son for some 10 minutes or so from a distance of around 100 feet away at the shore of Lake Ontario ( I completely missed this opportunity!).
We never thought we would see a Mink so near to the center of the Toronto City, most encouraging!
