i do love nature, especially flowers and the close-up photography, if i remember well, this shot was in the Athens National GardenTime
time of the day? lets see... afternoon photo walk, about 6-8 o clock amLighting
this shot was taken with a compact camera, sony, i was too happy for this clean result, the close-up look is what i want in my images, i admire the nature photography and i can spend hours in a forest or outdoorsEquipment
for this photo, i had my favorite "sonya" it was a compact sony DSC-W170 with carl zeiss, no flash, no tripodInspiration

bodybuilders have gym to work out, post processing for me is the transformation time, always try to make the colors seem more vivid, more powerfulIn my camera bag
now i have only my "marianna" my d3200 nikon dslr with a 18 - 105 nikkor lens, now i ll upgrade to nikon d7100, so you ll see more exciting photos with even more vivid colorsFeedback
just be cool, enjoy your walk in the forest, try to use simply gear and use it with its maximum properties, either it is a simple compact or a powerful dslr, it doesnt mean that if you have a 6.000 dollars dslr camera you are ready for National Geographic, but it is the experience and the love you have for photography and nature and how you present it to others who havent discover the beauty of flowers, nature etc
