this is simply amazing, dreamy, rich composition, lovely pastel colours, very discreet... why on earth didn't you include it in the waterfalls contest!!? :)

Location
This was taken down Glen Etive in the Scottish Highlands.Time
I took this on the morning of November 2012Lighting
It was freezing cold and I was disappointed in the conditions as it wasn’t great light and the ice cold wind was howling through the Glen.Equipment
I used my Sony a580 and I’m pretty sure my Sigma 10-20 3.5 I managed to get into the river bed out of the wind a little. I let my tripod legs find a steady base in the river and set up my shot.Inspiration
I had seen lots of images of this mountain and just had to stop and try to get my own unique capture.Editing
I brightened things up a little in PS and this helped pop the little berries on the bush to the right of the image. In my camera bag
I currently use a Sony a77ii and along with my trusty Sigma 10-20 I also have a Sony 50mm a Sigma 70-300 and a Sony 16-50 2.8 in my bag. I also occasionally use my Sigma 105 macro lens too.Feedback
I can only advice others to get out there and experiment with what you have in your hand and in your bag. It’s how I’ve learned and how I continue to learn. Set your camera to manual, make mistakes and learn from them. It makes you remember ????
