Absolutely Amazing! Makes me wonder what's on your mind that hurts so much!

Thank you Tiffany, that means a lot. I use photography as an outlet sometimes to try and express the constant journey one goes through and as part of that journey we all come to crossroads/points in life where the route ahead isnt always clear and we have a choice to try and embrace that fact and have the guts to keep striving forward towards that goal we have at the back of our minds.

Location
I took this shot in my house in SwedenTime
At home on a late afternoonLighting
Tried to put a very specific light from a softbox on my face and upper torso and then use settings to make that part stand out.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon 6d with a 100mm 2,8 Macro lens mounted on a tripodInspiration
I wanted to experiment a bit more about light and how to isolate the subject (in this case myself) better. I had also gone through a very tough couple of years and you learn a lot coming out from it so I tried to put a bit of personal emotion to it as well in regards to how life can feel sometimes.Editing
Nothing major, just the basic stuff and also bringing out more contrast and some details as well as isolating the subject a bit more through light and darken center in Nik software tools. In my camera bag
For now I only carry around a Canon 6d with a 35mm Sigma 1.4 Art Series lens as well as the amazing Canon 100mm Macro 2,8 lens.Feedback
Creative selfies is all about experimenting I´d say, both in regards to light but also when it comes to location and expression. For me its very important to try and transmit an emotion or a feeling when you have people in the picture and even more so when it is yourself. You know yourself very well, embrace it and showcase all that you are.
