Location
This one was taken in the family's farm in Rio Verde - GO - Brazil. It's located at nearly 50 km from my home, and we left with the sun shining brightly. By the time we arrived there, a storm had come!Time
The storm was near at the end of the day, nearly 5pm., and we were run out of time, so I asked them to follow the road holding hands and smiling. I Remenber had said "enjoy the walk"! Near a storm! This makes me smile...Lighting
The light was good, but I think that the moment worth thousands more than it in this shot.Equipment
I used my standard setup for outdoor: a Canon 5D Mk II and a 70-200 mm L II 2.8.Inspiration
The strong union of this family! They love so much and so strong, and they may face everything united. A storm would do nothing against them! It was magical!Editing
The outdoor shots, especially portraits, require some refining in Lightroom for me. In this specific shot I used LR for the color correction and adjustments for the sky, and some PS for blemishes and some trees removal. In my camera bag
When I'm going to shoot outdoor portraits I always have in hand 2 camera bodies, my loyal 70-200mm 2.8, the amazing 50mm, a pair of 600RTX speedlights, cards, extra bateries, plastic bags to protect against the rain, cleaning cloths, and a lot of determination.Feedback
Try, try and try again. For this one shot I've done almost 20 clicks, and just for this one the birds had flied... You need luck, of course. But the harder you work, the luckier you get.
