I took this photo in my garden in Cape Town. It was a chance meeting but I loved the alien feeling of the image.Time
I took the shot in the early morning.Lighting
I prefer natural lighting as I want to share what I see with my eyes. Obviously the golden hours are the best.Equipment

I had decided that in order to learn my camera I needed to take more photo's so I spent every morning out in the garden taking shots of the small things in the garden.Editing
I did crop the image a little.In my camera bag
I now have my Canon750 D and two lenses in my bag. I also carry a 300mm and a 55mm, one blue filter, my extra battery, a removable flash and my camera manual.Feedback
My only advice is take tons of images. Luckily in this digital age we can take many images and practice makes perfect.
