Location
I took this photo in Morocco during my travel in the south part. I was in a very small village where i slept one night. The landscape around me was amazing, i usually do not photograph stars but the scene was incredible so i decided to try itTime
During the night about at 10:00 pm. The moon was still not out and around us there was no city so no light pollution.Lighting
Natural light and a little torch that i had with me to see the road in the darkness. I used it to lighting the road in front of meEquipment
I use my full frame canon 6d with my Rivelli tripod and a samyang 14mm lensInspiration
The nature around me. I was totally inspired about the stars the silence and the powerful of the light in the skyeEditing
Yes i edited my photo in lightroom because i have not photoshop and the Raw file was so goodIn my camera bag
I normally have my canon 6d with my 24-70 lens that i use the large part of my time then i have my 40mm and 50mm lens and the 14mm sammy that i used for that photograph. I also bring always with me a fujifilm as second body.Feedback
My advice is to find a great place without lighting pollution of course and to have every time a tripod. Without a tripod is impossible. My other advice is to have a good torch to play with the light and create good composition and to have a good camera that could help you with high ISO to have a great RAW file. When you will take your star capture try to remember also that 25/30 seconds of exposition will be enough because over that period the stars will start to rotate. Last advice is to enjoy the nature around you and to travel every time that you have a chance.
