Is this one shot or stacks shots? Did that guy really stand still for the entire exposure?

I used Stellarium application to determine the milky way would be positioned right above the middle cottage. I used a candle to create the soft light on the cottage.

Behind The Lens

Location
I wanted to photograph the milky way on Pokljuka plateau for some time and I decided that the abandoned village of Javornik meadows is a perfect spot.
Time
This was taken on a late evening in an abandoned village in the hills. Approximate time was 9pm and in winter at this time it's already completely dark, so you can see the milky way.
Lighting
I wanted to add something extra to the image, so I decided I would experiment with the candle light which I lit in front of the cottage. With extra long exposure the light spread evenly on the cottage, creating beautiful lighting on the cottage.
Equipment
This was shot with Nikon D800 and 14-24mm Nikkor wide angle lens. I used a sturdy tripod since this is a 20 second exposure.
Inspiration
I really wanted to make a good Milky way shot in the winter. I was scouting for a while to get a good location. Cottages and mountains in the background are perfectly aligned and make a good composition. I wanted to add something extra so I added myself and the beautiful subtle light from candle on the cottage.
Editing
Night photographs usually take quite a bit of processing, especially for the milky way since you have to emphasize it a bit. I actually managed to make this from one exposure only, since the snow lights up the foreground just enough.
In my camera bag
Recently I started using two cameras. With one I shoot for time-lapse video and I use the other to make the photographs. Two tripods, two cameras and three lenses is what I usually bring with me.
Feedback
The most important in this case was the idea. Scouting for a great location first is crucial. I used Stellarium application for Iphone to determine the position of the Milky way so I could stage the scene properly. I wanted to add some focus to the foreground also so I used a candle which I placed in front of the cottage. The light turned out just what I hoped to be, subtle with beautiful orange shades.
