Behind The Lens
Location
The photo was taken in Serengeti national park in Tanzania. It was november of 2015.Time
This is the best shot i got while we were leaving Serengeti. It is shot around 3pm, so the sun would have been harsh, but clouds were helpful. I was trying to capture those endless lines of wildebeest and there were groups fo zebras occasionally accompanying. This group of seven was nice and symmetrical looking.Lighting
it is all natural lightEquipment
This was shot on Nikon D7200 and Nikkor 70-200 VR II f/2.8 lens.Inspiration
I was trying to get some nice shots of those long-long lines of migrating wildebeest. Among those wildebeest were also groups of zebras.Editing
i post processed this photo to black and white and little bit added contrast. I believe in this way it reflects the situation much better. In my camera bag
Usually i have two camera bodies. Just in case one should fail. One is crop sensor Nikon D7200 and the other one is full frame Nikon D750. They both have their advantages in different situations. I never leave home without Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8 and Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8. I do have other lenses as well, but those are my favourites and always with me.Feedback
Just go visit Tanzania if you have a chance! You will get amazing images of wild animals in their natural surroundings without doubt!
