I took this picture in Bali, Indonesia at the Sacred Monkey Forest, in 2014.Time
This photo is one of my favorite pictures from my trip. This was the last day of my trip. It was in the afternoon, about 1:30ishLighting
At this particular point, I was hurrying along the path as I had a couple monkeys following me. They were very interested in my sandals and I wasn't willing to give them up. When I came around the bend and first looked up, I could've sworn I heard the Angels sing. The light was dancing among the trees. This picture is beautiful, but not as breath-taking as being there. The sun was very bright and I thought too harsh, but it worked.Equipment
I had a Samsung camera, but it was big. They warned us about the monkeys. They take cameras, purses, backpacks or anything else that catches their eye, so I didn't take my big camera, I used my phone to catch this image.Inspiration
I felt like it was a message from the Creator, just for me. The park was very busy and yet, when I came around the bend, I was the only person there. Thank goodness the monkeys lots interest in my shoes and left me be to absorb the moment.Editing
I didn't do any processing on this shot. I loved it the way it was.In my camera bag
I normally use a mirrorless Camera, Olympus E-M5 2. I have taken some pretty amazing shots with it.Feedback
Take your time and enjoy the moment. Take lots of shots from different angles. I only took 2 shots from here, thank goodness it turned out.
