Location
Taken at Main Street Park in Brooklyn, New York, NYTime
Photo was taken around 6pm on December 31st, 2015Lighting
Just natural light was used and therefore longer exposure times.Equipment
Camera was Nikon D4s plus Nikkor 28-70mm AF-D.Inspiration
Inspired by my dads passion for New York and jazz. As A jazz musician (drums) growing up pre-WWII, he wanted to go to New York playing with bands at the famous Harlem jazz clubs. Unfortunately he never saw New York. So I did the trip for him six years after he passed away, with my daughter so inspired by her grandfather.Editing

Most of the time I am having all my gear with me in the car. For shorter trips I bring my Nikon 50mm f1.4, Nikon 28-70mm f2.8 and my Nikon 14-24mm f2.8. Nikon D4s is the camera body used these days but my Nikon D3 is still with me.Feedback
If you are there and don't know if or when you come back to that spot.......shoot. And shoot a lot. If you don' have your gear with you, but have time to stay, then see how the light develops during the day and make notes of it. Then you will know when to come back to do som great shots.
