This was taken during my travels of Central America Nov 2015. Playa Mederas, Nicaragua. At the far end of the amazingly beautiful beach was a ledge of rocks that led out through crashing waves and around a corner. I had to investigate. After the walk on slippery rocks and getting soaked, I eventually got to the corner, I climbed over a few large rocks, and was faced with this beautiful sight. The waves were large but I decided to go for a long exposure image. The rock formations all along this beach were breathtaking, and with the waves crashing down with the long exposure I feel it gives a powerful yet ghostly effect. This was one of the many highlights of Nicaragua.
