I took the photograph on the beach at Horsey in Norfolk, England.Time
It was about noon on a very cold but very sunny da in February of this year. The choice to go to Horsey was mine as a birthday treat.Lighting
The natural lighting was great, no need for any additional lighting or flash, I was just there at the right time.Equipment

I have a great love of wildlife photography and I had visited Norfolk a few times previously but ne ver seen the seals. I wanted to go when there were seal pups about, so I chose to go there as a birthday treat. I was able to sit on the rocks about 20 feet from the seals who seemed quite happy to have me there photo graphing them. I spent about an hour and a half clicking away. In all I took over 500 images of which I deleted over 400 to get the shots down to the best ones. When I finally got down to the best shots I saved about 2 dozen.Editing
Yes, I cropped it fractionally and slightly increased the saturation by 3 points.In my camera bag
I normally carry my Nikon D90, D60, Sigma 50 -500 telephoto, a Nikon 70-300 telephoto along with Lee grad filters and Manfrotto Monopod. But my favourite piece if equipment is a harness Which allows me to take the weight of my camera and 500 lens on both shoulders.Feedback
