Location
This photo was taken along the edge of the Orange River in Whiting, Maine. USATime
This was taken on February 21, 2008 as I took my dog for our daily walk. It was around 7:20 in the morning.Lighting
There was no special lighting as the sun was not up over the trees along the shore where I was walking.Equipment
I was using a Sony DSC-H1 point and shoot. It was hand held, ISO 200, speed 1/50, f3.5, 7.5mm.Inspiration
I love to see the different patterns formed in ice. This particular morning the ice along the river was super clear and had amazing bubble patterns in it. I got several interesting images, but this one was my favorite.Editing
I probably tweaked it a bit in Photoshop. This was taken more than 13 years ago so I don't remember exactly what I did, but I do very minimal post processing on my photos. In my camera bag
Just the camera that I am currently using. These days I am using a Canon PowerShot SX70 HS 3.8-247.0 mm.Feedback
Keep your eyes open and look for things that most people just walk by.....
