I was taking my dog 'nitro' featured in the photograph for his daily run and decided to take my camera. My partner at the time was playing with him and at the moment of this photograph I couldn't pass up the opportunity to capture the moment of suspense when a dog is told to stay awaiting for his owner to call himEditing

The time of day chosen should provide softened light as not to over or under expose the image. Get down onto your subjects level and almost try to view the world as if you are the angels on their shoulders. Keep the background and foreground simple and uncluttered
