It was my first backpacking trip to the Grand Canyon just over 3 years ago. 3 nights and 4 days.

Obviously once you're down in the canyon, you no longer get to see the vast view that you're used to seeing from the rims. On the other hand, you get to soak your feet in the Colorado River!
