I didn't use any artificial lighting. The natural lighting was all I had and all I needed. The sun was definitely coming from infront of the camera off to the right of the frame. But it's how I got the long grass blacked out.Equipment
Canon 70D, 18mm-135mm is stm lens and a tripodInspiration
I was out taking night photos of the planets and then the sun came up and it just looked incredible.Editing
I don't think I did too much... I may have brought the blacks, highlights and the contrast up a we bit too. But it's mostly natural. In my camera bag
Canon 70D, 18mm-135mm is stm lens, basic canon 50mm, 320EX speed light and a tripodFeedback
Time of day was the biggest factor for the photo. My laptop got stolen, so I can't say what the specs were. But again the time of day is so important. Give it half an hour or so and the colours and the natural exposure of the location just simply wouldn't be the same.
