This is a macro shot of an Orb Weaver Spider that can found mostly hanging out around ponds - or lakes. I used the sun coming from the side to light up only parts of him & his web. I have found these spiders to be quite amusing in a way that if you'll pay attention to where they live & their way of weaving their web' you'll notice that if they build it over a path' it is always in the form of a half dome over the path. It's if they don't want to disturb you.
