When you have images like this one with such bright and vibrant colors, it is hard to make any adjustments because you immediately begin to lose information since it is maxed out. It's ironic, but a lot of times the scenes with the most vibrant colors are the most difficult to process. It is much easier to manipulate and correct softer and more muted tones. Anyways, this was one of the most incredible moments of photography I have yet to experience, seeing the northern lights in Iceland is amazing, but it's what you'd expect, so when we were out shooting on this warm summer night in the Grand Teton NP, Wyoming, it was a pretty exciting surprise to see this happen! The aurora showed off the entire night and we kept shooting and shooting all the way until sunrise.
