Fox tails. They are common and abundant throughout every season where I live, and they have called to me for years. This winter has been no different as I found a stop on the way home from work that offered many opportunities as the sun would set behind the trees & lake that made such a wonderful backdrop for the images. My intention is to truly isolate one "bloom" - while the surrounding fox tails in the foreground & background offer unfocused layering to support the main subject.
