Location
I took this photograph at Scarborough Bluffs when I was at the beach.Time
I captured this photograph at approximately 1:30 p.m. in natural lighting.Lighting
No flash was required on this photograph as on this particular day it was a beautiful warm sunny day and the natural lighting was perfect!Equipment
I used my Canon camera which was hand held. I do not believe you do not need to have an expensive camera to capture a beautiful photograph. I feel strongly that cameras do not take the photograph but photographers do.Inspiration
I like capturing unusual, unique and just anything someone else might walk by. I liked the way the feather was in the sand, how it was shaped and how it showcased the shadow.Editing
The only minor post-processing I did on this photograph was to cropped it a bit. Otherwise what you see is what came straight out of my camera. In my camera bag
In my camera bag I carry my Canon camera, extra batteries, various filters, lens filter cleaner and extra memory cards.Feedback
I strongly believe that every photograph tells a story, so make your photograph tell a story. Photography changes the way you see things. You notice colours, textures, people, nature … everything around you looks different when you start to see the world through a lens. Have fun and enjoy doing what you love doing, which is taking photographs. Don’t follow your dreams … chase them!
