Wanted to end 2013 with a bang and I managed to get one last fine art piece in before the year's end. This image is titled, "The Altruist" and portrays a young girl with her little bird cupped in her hand, getting ready to set it free into the world. She has a look of sadness on her face because she loved her little feathered friend, but at the same time she knows that her kind act will be for the best. Birds were meant to fly. We are faced with tough choices everyday and some of them require us to put our own personal interest aside for the well being of others. This is the message I am trying to convey through, "The Altruist."
