Location
The photo was taken at Gettysburg. I was in training and a co worker invited me to go with her to see the park. I was initially hesitant, but she offered to pay for dinner. I decided to go and it was one of the greatest experience I've had. I hope to take my family one day.Time
The image was take around 7 pm. It was about 45 degrees that day in the late winter. I was rushing when I took the image because a wind storm was coming and it was cold out.Lighting
The lighting was natural sunset light.Equipment
The camera I was using at the time was a fuji with a pop up light. I wish I was there now, I have a Nikon 3100 hundred. The photo would have been much better.Inspiration
The park is very large and you can see from the Union soldiers side of it. When I ask who was it. I was told it was General Lee. And because of the history of General Lee, I knew I had to get a shot of it.Editing

I have a Nikon 3100 now. I have to lens's; 55-75mm and a 75 to 200mm.Feedback
I would say take your time and do some research. I had no idea of how big the park was and what to expect when I got there. I was just going with a friend who ask. If I get a chance to go back, or to any other historical park, I'll have a plan to go after specific shots first.
