It was shot near the middle of the day.Lighting
It was cloudy but bright.Equipment
Camera: Canon EOS Rebel XSI, Lens:Canon EOS IS Zoom 28-135 mm, Focal Length: 135 mm, ISO: 800, Aperture: f/16, Shutter Speed: 1/200Inspiration
I had been taking shots of the Teasel Flower Heads for a while and this was the one which selected for showing on ViewBug.Editing
I conducted white balance, sharpened a bit and increased the vibrancy a small amount. Adobe's Lightroom is my first choice tool of processing conducted on my shots .In my camera bag
I currently carry a Canon Rebel T6s with a Tamron VC 16-300 mm attached. Additional lens: Canon 10-22 mm, Canon Macro EF 100 mm, Sigma IS 150-500 mm, Canon Speedlite 430EX II flash, A MeFoto lightweight tripod, plus other support tools.Feedback
Watch where your light is coming from and use it properly. Make sure that your shutter speed is close to focal length and that your shutter speed for handheld shots is fast enough to prevent blur. If your lighting is not quite enough then bring out the tripod and use a remote to shoot the image. One more thing, set your aperture at the smallest setting you can to get the deeper field of vision.
