Location
The photo was taken near my home on the ice.Time
About 15:30 because the sun was very tired and had to go to sleep early.Lighting
I was just there to walk on the ice and get new perspectives to my photos and not so much for the light but it was still extra good.Equipment
With canon 550D and the lens was EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS and with Slik pro 400DX tripod. Also lots of cloth layers were required to not froze to the amazing landscape.Inspiration
The person standing there, the snow and the trees. It's rare that I get to that place because the ice won't be super thick so long. And the snow level was just perfect so I just had to go outside.Editing
I tried to remove the lens flare and added my name. Little bit cropping to get closer look of the person standing there and little bit more contrast/shadow.In my camera bag
Canon 550D and two lenses: EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS and EF-S55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS. One extra battery. Head lamp. One circular pl filter. Sometimes banana.Feedback
Always when you can go to take pics go hunt them! The most beautiful moment can be gone so quickly! But usually if you want landscape photos that look good go for the morning and dusk. But don't leave too late always go out early. Pay attention to your surroundings everyday. Go to the forest areas you never know what you can find. Look at the weather forecast.
