I take this photo in my home, in the kitchen of my daughter Eimi. I'm self taught photographer and I love to experiment in all kind of places and all kind of ways.Time
When I taking photos indoors, for me is no matter what time of day it is, because I using my own lighting to create my own light to light the scene.Lighting
I waned to make photo that background will be white, so I was taking photo against white kitchen door and I use two continues lights with soft-boxes on and one speed light to make background pure white.Equipment
This is so funny I remember like today, because iI waned to experiment and see if I can make good shots with older non professional camera a good photos, so i take Nikon D60 and I choose the Nikkor 50mm F1.8G lens. And for light my object ( thats my daughter Eimi ) I was using two continues light 135W 5500K with soft-boxes and I use one Yongnuo YN560 III speed-light to make white background. And wireless triggers Yongnuo RF603N II to trigger speed-light.Inspiration
I was looking photos on internet and I saw that amazing high key photos with that bright white background and I told me that I have to try to do somehow to get that white background at home, where I don't have much space and no white walls.Editing
I do some kind of post-processing to make photos more stand out. I'm always trying to do something different, so it makes attention to viewer to stop and look at my photo ( example. playing with the colors, sharpness, white balance,... ).In my camera bag
In my bag I always have wherever i go: Nikon D750 body because I just love this camera. And in my bag I always have Nikkor 50mm F1.8G lens, it's very sharp lens. Then I have for macro photography Tokina 100mm F2,8 macro lens, its amazing lens to get close to the bugs without scare them away. Then I have Sigma 24-105mm F4 ART lens which I using for wide shots like landscapes or portraits when I want to make some creative shots so its visible surroundings. And I have my favorite lens as I'm portrait photographer is Nikkor 70-200mm F2.8G. This is amazing lens for portraits, is very sharp, gives beautiful colors and beautiful creamy bokeh. But I have moro stuf in my bag, one of very important thin is light, so I have a speed-light Godox AD200 and Godox X1T trigger, plus I have foldable 2in1 30cm Round Flash Diffuser Soft-box.Feedback
My advice to get white background is to use speed-light on full power and experiment with the distance from your light source to the background and your subject. The speed-light which using to make white background it need to be placed behind somewhere you subject, so the light will not light up your subject and to use another light source to light up your subject. I advice to experiment and not give up and you will get result which you are looking for.
