Thank you for your comment. I'm not always fond of the rule of third intepretation and tried other solutions. But I had to admit, that in this photo there was no alternative.

Location
The photo was taken on the Sunny Beach between Torremolinos and Bernalmàdena in Spain.Time
It was taken in the afternoon - at 3 pm. My wife, Maja, and I had been in Torremolinos for lunch, when I saw this boat lying alone on the beach.Lighting
NoEquipment
This was shot on a Nikon D7000 camera, with a AF-S Nikkor 18-105 mm F3.5-5.6 lens. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
I always look for good motives. Also when I don't have my camera with me - you could come back. When I saw this boat with its colours in the sand and the sea behind I knew exactly what result I wanted.Editing
I tool three shots that I tonemapped in Photomatix and finished in PhotoShop. I turned the colours a little shaper. I also cropped it in spite of the rules of thirds. In my camera bag
In my bag I have my Nikon D7000 and always my AF-S Nikkon 18-105 mm lens and my Sigma 10-20 mm.Feedback
I only have one advice - Keep your eyes open.
