I was snorkeling a shallow lagoon area on the Chetco River, in Southern Oregon. The water was exceptionally clear, and what you are seeing is the reflection of the river bed, onto surface of the river. It blew me away when i saw it later back home. There is absolutely no "photoshopping" done whatsoever..this is the original image! The water is so clear, it is almost like air.

First signs of Spring pushing back against winter.

Took this photo of the sun setting thru a rock archway, right as a cormorant was coming in to land..a completely unexpected magical moment!

Love macro closeups...here is a single Hydrangea flower... as an insect would see it.

This guy just sat there...quite happy for me to take his picture. Super mellow he was.

Sand textures during extreme tides on the Oregon Coast.

We have these sand dunes that build up and get broken down over a 75year cycle... and you can see the layers of elemental action going on right here.

Held the camera upsidedown when i took the photo to capture the surreal clarity of the scene i was witnessing.

I love to surf and love the feeling of waves.

This is a beach nearby called, China Beach...with surreal sea stacks in the surfline. The place looks otherworldly!
