Location
I took this photo just outside the seaside town of Kilkee in county Clare. It's on the wild Atlantic way in IrelandTime
It was after six pmLighting
It was in winter and the light was fading fast about twenty minutes after it was taken it was completely dark and it was a really stormy day as you can see.Equipment
I used my trusty fujifilm x100.Inspiration
My friend Garry who you see on 'the edge' went down to take pictures of the waves and kept shouting for me to come down and join him. If I'm honest I didn't feel brave enough to go down. it was such a picturesque scene and I just snapped him. I loved how he was completely dwarfed by nature.Editing
I did a small bit of processing but nothing major. I adjusted the white balance. In my camera bag
My x100 is always there. My canon 600d, rollei 35s and Nikon fm2. Recently I added a GoPro to the mix.Feedback
I would consider myself a hobbyist in photography. I really enjoy the process and I have more bad pictures than good ones. When I got into 35mm I think that really pushed my skills as you have to assess everything around you as its all manual and it's costing you to develop. So my advice is get a 35mm camera and take pictures that you love.
