i really like the infrared effect on the trees, but the yellow sky is a little bit surreal for me. have you considered turning this into a black and white image? pull the yellow value of the sky down towards black, and perhaps reduce the value of the white highlights of the trees just enough to give them more texture (not a whole lot) just a thought, and only an opinion (what do i know?) lovely image regardless.

When I first saw the photo, my first thought was similar to that of johnarsenault, regarding the sky. After thinking about for a bit, I realized that the contrasting orange is what makes this photo so cool. I actually love it. Connie

Thanks Connie.... That is one of the things that makes infrared so great, all the different ways of processing it. The first few years I did IR I was strictly a black & white person, which I still love, but had one of my cameras converted to Infrared 590nm Super Color a couple of years ago, and it's opened up a whole new way of looking at the world. If you would like to see more on infrared, look at LifePixels website, they are the ones that converted both of my IR Cameras. My second camera is a Standard 720nm Ir conversion, leaning more to the black and white side, but you can still do smaller amounts of color.... Thanks.. Mike
